Spine Deformity Program

Our Spine Deformity program is the only one of its kind in the region, providing expert care from diagnosis through treatment and recovery. Our multispecialty team, including specialized nurses and a dedicated nurse coordinator, works closely with families to manage spinal deformities and ensure the best outcomes for your child’s spine development.

We offer personalized treatment plans, utilizing the latest technology such as the O-arm 3-D intraoperative navigation system, stealth navigation for improved surgical visualization, and EOS low-dose imaging to reduce radiation exposure.

Additionally, our team offers the Schroth Method, or physiotherapeutic scoliosis-specific exercise (PSSE), a non-surgical option that helps improve posture and manage pain for patients living with scoliosis. A specially trained physical therapist will develop an exercise plan unique for each patient.

Pediatric orthopedic research is important to our pediatric providers resulting them to be actively involved in ongoing research that ensures they stay at the forefront of developing and implementing the most effective treatments. Our pediatric providers are also members of leading organizations like the Scoliosis Research Society and the Pediatric Society of North America.

Children’s Spine Deformity program treats a wide range of spinal conditions in children, including scoliosis, kyphosis, and other congenital or acquired spine deformities.

We offer a range of personalized treatment options for spine deformities, including advanced surgical and non-surgical interventions designed to meet each child’s specific needs.
