Community Health & Advocacy

Community health issues like poverty, obesity and injuries cannot be tackled alone. Successful prevention is a result of collaborative, working partnerships with families, community organizations, schools, policy makers and people like you.

Building Healthier Futures

Heathier futures for all children is achieved when every child has the opportunity to reach their full, healthy potential regardless of socio-economic status, access to resources or social capital. The Community Health & Advocacy team is dedicated to improving health outcomes, particularly for underserved children and families. To make a lasting impact on the Social Drivers of Health (SDOH) that shape long-term health outcomes, the team collaborates closely with Children's providers and departments as well as key community partners.

Children’s Nebraska is committed to:

  • Increasing Access to Care in the Community

  • Addressing Social Drivers of Health
