Pharmacy Residency Program

As a resident, you’ll gain valuable experience by rotating through various practice settings and taking on key responsibilities in patient drug therapy care. The residency program starts each year on July 1. Here’s what you can expect: 

• Assessing and monitoring medication use

• Advising physicians and healthcare providers on appropriate medication use

• Providing pharmacokinetic consulting

• Attending and participating in rounds

• Conducting patient interviews and patient medication counseling

Be a Preceptor for Pharmacy Students

Residents in the pharmacy program take on a teaching role by guiding pharmacy students during their training. They'll be involved in giving lectures and making formal presentations to other healthcare professionals and staff members.

There is one PGY1 pharmacy resident position available each year. We will be conduct on-site interviews with the option for a virtual interview if travel is not possible.

The application deadline is January 3 every year. Please submit all application material using the Pharmacy Online Residency Centralized Application Service (PhORCAS). The NMS code is 140213.
