About Us
Our ENTs treat a range of head and neck conditions in children, from mild to complex. Ear, nose and throat conditions are treated together because several coordinated pathways connect them, allowing children to breathe, smell, taste, talk and hear. When an illness or disorder affects one area, it affects other areas, too.
When to See a Pediatric ENT
Your child’s pediatrician or primary care provider can evaluate a mild, one-time ear infection or other routine symptoms. In some instances, providers may refer you to a pediatric ENT if your child:
Has recurring ear infections, colds, sinus infections or strep throat
Has symptoms of an ear infection that last more than a few days
Complains of severe pain in the ears, nose or throat
Seems to have difficulty hearing, speaking or swallowing
Snores or has noisy breathing when asleep or awake
Has slow or delayed speech development
