Sleep Disorders Program

When your child struggles with sleep, it keeps you up at night, too. Our Sleep Disorders Program helps your child regain healthy sleeping habits so everyone can have restful nights and brighter days.

About Us

A good night’s rest is important for your child, no matter their age. Children spend about 40% of their childhood sleeping to boost their growth and development.

If your child struggles to get enough sleep — whether at night or during naps — they may have a sleep disorder. These disorders can cause issues such as behavioral challenges, slowed growth, and hormonal and metabolic problems.

The Sleep Disorders Program at Children’s Nebraska aims to diagnose, manage and treat sleep-related disorders to help your child maintain healthy sleeping habits.

Conditions We Treat

Our Sleep Disorders Program offers clinics designed to help a child's normal sleep patterns. The child’s care team will include providers who are specially trained in pediatric sleep medicine.

Our team will assess the child’s condition and decide which treatment is best for their sleep issues. We have two clinics — a Sleep Disorders Clinic for primary or physiological sleep disorders, as well as a Behavioral Sleep Disorders Clinic for sleep issues related to behavioral and other factors.
