Pulmonary Diagnostics

If your child has difficulty breathing or gets out of breath easily, our experts can find the cause and provide care. Our team diagnoses all types of pulmonary disorders in children.

About Us

Lung and breathing disorders (pulmonary conditions) can affect children of all ages, ranging from allergies and infections to complex heart and lung diseases. If a pulmonary condition is suspected, your child's provider may refer you to Children's Nebraska's Pulmonary Diagnostics Lab.

Our pediatric pulmonary experts diagnose a wide range of conditions, including respiratory (breathing) and heart (cardiac) issues as well as rare metabolic disorders affecting the body's chemical and cellular processes (metabolism). We offer comprehensive testing and evaluation in our state-of-the-art lab, and offer the only program in the region dedicated exclusively to pediatrics.

We understand the unique needs of children and prioritize their comfort throughout the process. Pediatric diagnostic testing accounts for the distinct symptoms and developmental stages of children, ensuring the best care.
