What Sets Us Apart

NAEC Level 4 Epilepsy Center

Level 4 Pediatric Epilepsy Center

Children's is designated as a level 4 pediatric epilepsy center by the National Association of Epilepsy Centers, the highest designation level available. This means we have the experts, multispecialty teamwork and comprehensive resources to provide the highest-available level of care for complex epilepsy.

Advanced Diagnostics

Our experts use smart tools — like neuroimaging, functional and tractography MRIs, and magnetoencephalography (MEG) — to obtain precise, real-time video views and important details about how a child’s brain is working. This data helps guide treatment choices.

Epilepsy Surgery Leaders

We lead the way with the latest innovative procedures, including laser interstitial thermal therapy (LITT) and stereoelectroencephalography (sEEG). Our skilled neurosurgeons perform complex procedures and offer many minimally invasive options.
