Founded by the community, for the community in 1948, Children’s Nebraska is the only full-service pediatric specialty health center in the state. Our physicians and faculty are an essential part of our commitment to providing care with skill and compassion to children of all ages.

With a team of over 250 pediatric specialists, we offer a broad range of services, all within state-of-the-art facilities. The Hubbard Center for Children is home to our Level IV regional NICU, Level II Pediatric Trauma Center, first-in-the-region Cardiac Care Unit (CCU), Fetal Care Center and more.

Child Health Research Institute

The Child Health Research Institute (CHRI), an innovative partnership between the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) and Children’s, promotes research in pediatric health, consolidates and coordinates efforts under one institute and empowers scientists to make advancements in childhood medical outcomes.
