About Virtual Visits
Our virtual visit model is your answer to getting your child the care they need. With virtual visits, your child can get the same quality care they would get in our facilities — but from the safety and comfort of your own home.
Our virtual visits are 100% HIPAA compliant, never recorded, and encrypted to protect your privacy. We treat virtual visits the same as in person visits so all appointment and billing information will be available via your Children’s Connect account.

Prepare for Your Virtual Visit
After scheduling your virtual visit with your provider, you will receive email updates about your appointment from Children‘s Connect. Four days prior to your appointment, you will receive a notification that you are able to eCheck-in to your appointment. Please log into your Children’s Connect account to complete eCheck-in and any required questionnaires. This process takes approximately five minutes to complete. When it is time for your appointment, log into Children’s Connect at least 5 minutes before your scheduled appointment. You will be placed in the virtual waiting room until the provider arrives.
Your Child must be present during the visit. Choose a location with adequate lighting, free of distractions and where you will feel most comfortable talking with your provider or clinician. Ensure that your camera and microphone are working properly and that you can be clearly seen and heard.

Children's Connect
Children’s Connect offers parents or guardians secure online access to portions of their child’s medical records until the child reaches age 19. It enables you to manage and receive information about your child’s health. With Children’s Connect, you can:
Request and schedule medical appointments.
View your child’s health summary from the Children’s Connect electronic health record.
View certain test results.
Request prescription refills.
Access trusted health information resources.
Communicate electronically and securely with your Children’s pediatrician or specialist’s office.

Children's Care Today
When your child needs care urgently, outside of your pediatrician’s office hours, you can schedule a virtual visit with one of our Children's Care Today providers to be treated for the following:
Congestion or cough without respiratory distress
Dehydration
Eyelid swelling or pimple
Fever for a child older than 3 months
Insect bite
Itching
Nausea, vomiting and/or diarrhea
Pink eye
Rash
