Sleep Disorders Program

Refer your patients to Children’s Nebraska's Sleep Disorders Program for specialized pediatric sleep care. Our American Academy of Sleep Medicine-accredited program provides advanced diagnostics and treatments in a top-tier sleep lab.

About Us

A good night’s rest is essential for your patients, regardless of age, as children spend about 40% of their childhood sleeping to support growth and development.

If your patient struggles to get sufficient sleep, whether at night or during naps, they may have a sleep disorder. These disorders can lead to behavioral challenges, slowed growth and hormonal or metabolic issues.

The Sleep Disorders Program at Children’s Nebraska specializes in diagnosing, managing and treating sleep-related disorders to help your patient develop and maintain healthy sleep habits.

Conditions We Treat

Our Sleep Disorders Program offers clinics designed to help a child's normal sleep patterns. The child’s care team will include providers who are specially trained in pediatric sleep medicine.

Our team will assess the child’s condition and decide which treatment is best for their sleep issues. We have two clinics — a Sleep Disorders Clinic for primary or physiological sleep disorders, as well as a Behavioral Sleep Disorders Clinic for sleep issues related to behavioral and other factors.
