Our Student to Nurse (S2RN) Pediatric Sponsorship Program provides funding and job opportunities for nursing students who love working with kids. We know starting a new journey can be exciting and maybe a little scary, but we’re here to help you along the way. Nursing students may join the program before their junior year of nursing school.
What's Included in the Program
$15,000 in sponsorship for education expenses
$5,000 bonus upon starting the Nurse Residency Program
Sponsorship funds for tuition and fees or other educational costs, provided at key checkpoints
Paid relevant work experience
Career-readiness training
Preference for senior preceptorship placement
Enrollment in the Nurse Residency Program at the start of the S2RN program
Additional Benefits
Hired into the program before starting junior year of nursing school
Paid CNA work in hospital and specialty clinic, providing pediatric experience and realistic job previews to identify focus areas for future Nurse Residency
Flexible scheduling throughout the program
One-on-one mentoring during school and after graduation
Early selection of nursing area preference made at the start of senior year, aiming to complete preceptorship hours and begin the Nurse Residency Program post-graduation

Apply for the Student to Nurse Pediatric Sponsorship Program online! New groups start each June, and we accept applications in the spring for that June start. The program lasts two years.
