Wound Clinic

Growing children need special care for any type of wound. Our pediatric wound care experts provide the necessary care to help children heal faster.

About Us

Children are constantly growing, making pediatric wound care much different from adult care. The Wound Clinic at Children's Nebraska treats children of all ages and understands the unique care that children need through changing stages of growth and development.

We assess, diagnose and manage wound care at every stage of healing. Our experts care for children in our specialty Wound Clinic and during hospital stays, including in the Emergency Department. We care for all types of wounds, ranging from irritated skin, bumps, cuts and ulcers to post-surgical wounds, including stomas (surgically created openings in the skin), severe burns and open wounds that are slow to heal.

Using leading-edge techniques, we gently protect, heal and seal open wounds. Our experts also offer convenient telehealth visits for children and families and e-consults for providers.
