Sports Medicine

Adolescents and teens are increasingly active, with sports participation on the rise. When sports-related injuries occur, our team is here to support yours in providing comprehensive care.

About Us

Our sports medicine specialists are dedicated to preventing overuse injuries, fractures and concussions in young athletes, while offering expert care for a variety of sports-related injuries. Every year, nearly 2 million high school athletes and more than 3 million children younger than 14 years are injured in sports. With proper education and guidance, about half of these injuries can be prevented.

Our team specializes in age-appropriate injury prevention and treatment, recognizing the unique needs of pediatric athletes, including growth-related concerns and their increased vulnerability to certain types of injuries. We offer a specialized Sports Physical Therapy program for pediatric injuries and work collaboratively with pediatric sports medicine experts, including doctors, orthopedic surgeons, athletic trainers and nurses.

For injured athletes, we provide a comprehensive diagnosis and develop individualized treatment plans to ensure a safe and efficient return to play. We encourage referrals for cases involving concussion symptoms, persistent pain or swelling, recurring flare-ups or athletes who rely on pain medications to continue training or competing.
