Pulmonary Hypertension Program

Pulmonary hypertension impacts blood pressure in the lungs, presenting significant challenges to both lung and heart health in pediatric patients. We provide advanced expertise and specialized care to manage this complex condition. Our team is dedicated to delivering the highest level of care to enhance the wellbeing and quality of life for children with pulmonary hypertension.

About Us

Pulmonary hypertension in children occurs when the arteries carrying blood from the heart become narrow or stiff, causing the heart to work harder to pump blood through the lungs. Over time, this can lead to significant heart and lung damage and potentially life-threatening complications.

Our multispecialty team of pediatric pulmonologists and cardiologists specializes in diagnosing and managing pulmonary hypertension and its related complications in children. The Pulmonary Hypertension Program, led by board-certified experts in both lung and heart conditions, provides comprehensive high-level care tailored to the unique needs of pediatric patients.
