What Sets Us Apart

Leading-Edge Surgical Techniques

  • To perform complex surgeries with utmost precision, we use robotic-assisted technology (ROSA), minimizing risks and improving patient outcomes.

  • Children’s has the only pediatric program in the state offering laser interstitial thermal therapy (LITT) for thermal ablation of brain tumors and epilepsy foci. The innovative treatment provides a less invasive alternative to traditional surgery, allowing for targeted destruction of abnormal tissue while preserving healthy brain function.

  • As leaders in targeted epilepsy surgery, we utilize advanced technologies such as sEEG, subdural grids and advanced neuro-imaging.

  • Children’s has the only pediatric program in the state offering minimally invasive endoscopic procedures for skull base lesions.

  • To improve the quality of life for children with spasticity, we offer selective dorsal rhizotomy (SDR), which reduces muscle stiffness and improves mobility for children with cerebral palsy. Children’s has the only pediatric program in the state offering SDR.
