About Us
Our pediatric ENTs specialize in treating a range of head and neck conditions in children, from mild to complex. Because the ear, nose and throat are interconnected, a condition affecting one area can impact others, influencing a child’s ability to breathe, smell, taste, talk and hear.
When to Refer to a Pediatric ENT
While a pediatrician or primary care provider can evaluate mild, one-time symptoms like ear infections, certain conditions may require a referral to a pediatric ENT. Consider referring your patient if they:
Experience frequent ear infections, colds, sinus infections or strep throat
Have ear infection symptoms lasting more than a few days
Complain of severe pain in the ears, nose or throat
Show signs of difficulty hearing, speaking or swallowing
Snore or have noisy breathing during sleep or while awake
Display delayed or slow speech development
