About Us
Children’s Nebraska’s Advanced Pediatric Heart Failure and Transplant program provides comprehensive care for children at all stages of heart failure, from diagnosis through heart transplantation. Our multidisciplinary team collaborates to create personalized care plans that address all aspects of your patient’s needs. We guide families throughout the process, offering support before, during and after a lifesaving pediatric heart transplant.
Our team will continue to care for your patient until they are ready to transition to an adult cardiologist. At age 18, we work closely with our partners at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) to ensure a smooth transition to adult care.
