In her nine years as a physical therapist at Children’s Nebraska, Suzanne Dougherty has celebrated thousands of milestones. Working primarily in outpatient services, Suzanne’s encouragement in the rehab gym along with empowering families is improving the quality of life for each of her patients.

Cardiac Care Unit nurse Ally Spielman has spent her entire career serving heart patients and their families at Children’s Nebraska. As an admit nurse, Ally welcomes patients to the CCU directly out of surgery and provides quality care until the family gets to return home.

After joining Children’s Nebraska through the Student to RN program, Heather has found a home she loves in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

From fueling surgeons to creating comfort food for families, food service keeps Children’s Nebraska fed. Our talented baker Danielle is one of nearly two dozen creating the daily menu in the Hubbard Center’s cafe. Cakes, brownies, cookies and more, Danielle hopes her sweat treats can brighten the day of both patients and families.

As one of the first people to great patients at Children’s hematology/oncology clinic, Quaniquia Damper knows the importance of a smile. For the last two years the medical assistant has been celebrating success stories in the Specialty Pediatric Center.
