As a pediatric cardiac intensivist, my primary interest is in taking care of critically ill children with cardiac disease with special focus on single ventricle physiology and heart failure. Another major clinical interest is taking care of patients requiring ECMO and mechanical circulatory support. My academic focus is on ECMO education and research apart from overseeing the clinical care of patients on ECMO being a part of the ECMO leadership team. I am also starting to focus my interests in the disease burden of thrombosis in patients with congenital heart disease and the utility of anticoagulation.
