My name is Peggy Schneider. I’m a Physician’s Assistant at Children’s Physicians at University of Nebraska Medical Center. I’ve been doing this for a really long time, for the past 30 years, taking care of pediatric patients and working with the families. I’ve seen a lot of things and have learned from my experience. I also have my own family that I’ve raised, and I know how hard it can be at times to be a parent. I try to be a good listener. I try to spend a lot of time with patients and, of course, their parents to reassure them and educate them. I hope they are getting a lot of value out of their visits when they come to see me. I enjoy doing well-child care, making sure that parents are prepared for all stages of their child’s life, as well as making sure that they’re up to date on their immunizations and are growing and developing and turning into the best person that they can be. There are a lot of things going on all at once in everyone’s lives, and the more you can just try to relax and enjoy your kids, the better off you’ll all be.
