Hi, my name is Patty Peska and I am a certified pediatric nurse practitioner for Children’s Physicians at our West Village Pointe office.

I’ve always been interested in kids for as long as I can remember. In high school, when I was trying to think of what I was going to do for a career, nursing really appealed to me. And after my first rotations with adults, I knew for sure that I really did want to work with children.

The typical patients I see in clinic are kids that come in with normal kid complaints. So, they have a sore throat, they have a fever, they have earaches, they have tummy aches – those kinds of things are the patients I see a lot of. I do see a lot of well visits as well. I also have a very unique role here where I don’t have my own set of patients. I work with five fabulous pediatricians in this office. But there are days that they are off from work or their schedules are full. So, at those times, it still allows you to come to your office where you’re comfortable. And you can see me, and I’m in direct communication with your pediatrician and can get a hold of them at any time if I need to.

I truly believe that parents know their children better than anybody in this entire world, and I’m going to listen to what you have to say, and I’m going to trust what you say. And together, we can work together to figure out what’s wrong with your child.
