About
Hi, my name is Mel St. Germain and I am a pediatrician with Children’s Physicians at West Village Pointe.
I always enjoyed medical things. I loved going to the eye doctor when I was a kid. And I was always the person who was looking at injuries and things like that in my family. I volunteered at Children’s Hospital when I was in high school, and ever since then, I’ve always known that that’s what I’ve wanted to do.
I chose to join Children’s Physicians because I think it’s really important to have that collaboration with all of the specialists and subspecialists that really have children’s interests first.
I have a special interest in the connection between the mind and the body, and I really try to help families explore and navigate other ways that they can keep themselves healthy.
I love taking care of healthy children and watching them as they develop through their different cycles and stages. And I love helping support families as they’re going through those normal developmental stages. I also love taking care of my families that have children with special needs — helping them to realize their full potential, and helping them to navigate some of the other services that they need to be in contact with to really help their kids to their full potential.
