Dr. Lois J. Starr is a Clinical Geneticist and Associate Professor of Pediatrics. She serves as the Program Director for the Medical Genetics Fellowship and is the Medical Director for the Munroe-Meyer Institute for Genetics and Rehabilitation. She is board certified in Pediatrics, Clinical Genetics, and Clinical Cytogenetics and Genomics. Dr. Starr received her medical degree, pediatrics residency training, clinical genetics and clinical cytogenetics and genomics fellowship training, and PhD from the University of Nebraska Medical Center.
Dr. Starr is interested in rare disorders in general and is involved with education of medical students, residents, and learners from a variety of programs. She provides expertise to specialty clinics including craniofacial/craniosynostosis, cardiovascular, and outreach clinics across the state of Nebraska.
