About
My name is Kari Krenzer, and I’m a pediatrician at Children’s Physicians, West Village Pointe. I’ve always been interested in pediatrics. I probably knew I wanted to be a pediatrician when I was 5 or 6 years old. Medical school appealed to me, so I decided to go to medical school, and from there, it was natural for me to move into pediatrics. On a day-to-day basis, our schedules vary a lot. We see a lot of well babies and children, but a good mix of sick kids — babies with fevers, babies with earaches, older kids with sore throats. Sometimes we see acute illnesses and sometimes things that have been going on for a long time — headaches for weeks or stomach aches or months. It’s kind of a mixture of all of those things. Within the Children’s system, we work with a multitude of specialists at the hospital. Because we have a single charting system within Epic, we’re able to communicate directly. Everybody shares the same chart and has access to the same information, which makes the care a lot more seamless than if we’re going outside of the Children’s system. I would hope that my families trust me because I promise them that I will always try to give them 100% of what I have to offer.
