Dr. Klugh is an Associate Professor of Neurosurgery at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. He specializes in pediatric neurosurgery. Dr. Klugh received a BS from the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland and an M.D. at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. He completed his internship at the National Capital Consortium, Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, Maryland, residency in general surgery at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, and residency in neurological surgery at Stanford University in California. Following his residencies, Dr. Klugh performed fellowship training in pediatric neurosurgery at Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford in Palo Alto, California. Most recently, he served 12 years at Naval Medical Center San Diego where he originated the pediatric neurosurgery service line and retired from naval service as a Captain.

Dr. Klugh is Board Certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgeons. He serves on the Medulloblastoma Collaborative Working Group and Child Advocacy Team. His research interests include neurotrauma, enhanced neuroimaging of brain tumors, craniofacial reconstruction, hydrocephalus, endoscopic skull base surgery and image guided microsurgery for brain and spinal cord tumors.
