Children’s Physicians Flu Vaccine Clinics

Help keep your family healthy this cold and flu season by ensuring everyone receives their flu shot.

The Flu Vaccine

Everyone should receive a flu vaccine. It’s especially important for children ages 6 months and older to get vaccinated, as well as any household contacts and caregivers of infants younger than 6 months. It is especially beneficial for breast-feeding moms to receive the flu vaccine.

Because influenza viruses change, flu vaccines are updated yearly, which means you and your child must get a flu vaccine each year. Also, children who have never received the vaccine will need two doses the first year.

Children’s Physicians Scheduled Flu Vaccine Clinics Begin Sept. 22

The flu vaccine is an important tool to keep your child healthy during the flu season. This year is especially important as we navigate a flu season combined with COVID-19. *To make it easier to get your child vaccinated, Children’s Physicians will be offering scheduled flu clinics on evenings and weekends, beginning Tuesday, Sept. 22 and running through mid-November.

All flu clinics will be appointment only. Avoid the rush (and ensure you get a time that works for your family) by scheduling your child’s appointment now! Call your Children’s Physicians office, or log into Children’s Connect via your computer or the mobile app and select “Schedule an Appointment” to directly schedule your child’s visit.
